Chuck McFarland

Hi, I’m Chuck! I’m your local State Farm agent here in Seattle, WA, and one fun way people often know how long we’ve been acquainted is by what they call me. Over the years I’ve been Charlie, Charles, and now Chuck, and each name marks a different chapter of my life.

I grew up in Yakima, WA and later graduated from Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) in Tacoma, WA. After starting my career in the wireless industry, my wife Michelle and I made Seattle our home in 2001. In 2008, I opened my State Farm agency, and I’ve truly enjoyed the journey of building a small business rooted in relationships, consistency, and care.

Our three adult children are now pursuing their own paths -- in medical care, the United States Marine Corps, and college. Michelle and I remain actively involved in the Queen Anne neighborhood, our church, and the greater Seattle community through volunteering and supporting local nonprofits, schools, and athletics programs -- which includes sponsoring the Queen Anne Farmers Market.

Being a small business owner and State Farm agent allows me to work with people from all walks of life and to support them during everyday moments, as well as unexpected challenges. Our amazing team, consisting of all licensed agents in their own right, help instill confidence and foster a sense of community when working with our customers -- both current and prospective!

At our office, we focus on helping customers prepare for what matters most, whether that involves Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Condo Insurance, Renters Insurance, Life Insurance, Business Insurance, or even Pet Insurance. Much of our growth comes from referrals, which tells us we’re building confidence in our customers and doing things the right way. If you’re looking for guidance on insurance or financial services in Seattle, I’d be glad to connect and talk through your needs. We look forward to being in touch with you!
